COACHES
Kevin - U8 Manager
I’ve been playing high level football since I was a kid, Played for many club including West Ham. I’ve been coaching for almost 10 years and have gotten a lot of experience. I would like to push and motivate kids to get to where I once was (West Ham) or further!
Benny - U9 Hackney Marshes Manager
Hey I’m Benny the current coach of the U9s and assistant coach for the U13s. I’ve been a part of Los Campos for almost a decade now. I started playing for them when I was 8 or 9 and I’ve been with the club ever since. The Campos community is fantastic and always has been. Because of that I wanted to stay at the club and decided to get involved with their assistant coaching program. After doing that for a year I was asked to take on the U9s HM’s team as head coach. Although I may not have the experience that other coaches have, I know what if feels like to be a player at Los Campos. I remember the things I enjoyed most and I try to replicate those moments of joy for the players I coach.
Ashley - U9 Echo League Manager
So I have been in football most of my life playing at all different levels. I then gave up football a few years back and found myself looking for something to fulfil that gap. When I was offered an opportunity to help my friend out as an assistant last year. This brought back all the feelings of playing and was instantly and heavily invested in the development of the players. Since then I have gone on to becoming a qualified coach and still striving for more. I now have my own team this year which I am throughly enjoying. I’m a disciplined coach with the love for creative football.
Oz - U10 Red Manager, U12 Blue Manager
I’ve been actively coaching since summer of 2022 after being released from a professional environment. I use all the experience Ive gained as a player/athlete to now coach the younger generations! I have enjoyed every part of being a coach since joining Los Campos thanks to them. I’ve gained my UEFA C Licence and now looking to progress onto my UEFA B Licence.
Los Campos has been moving in a good direction as a club, I’ve only joined a few seasons ago and have seen a great elevation! Thanks to the club values and the coaching DNA of the club. This has helped Los Campos become more competitive.
Im really proud to be apart of Los Campos and can’t wait to progress even further!
Simone - U12 Girls Team Manager
I have played football throughout my time at school but have always been disappointed in the lack of opportunities for girls in football. I am so greatful that I can now support younger girls in football with Los Campos!!
So far it has been amazing to see our team grow and the girls develop thier skills and i’m excited to see what the future holds.
Tahmid - U13 Red Manager
I have been passionate about football from a young age, starting my coaching journey at the age of 17. Since then, I have dedicated myself to developing young talent and fostering a love for the game. I am currently coaching at Los Campos, where I have been since 2023. My coaching philosophy centers around the development and enjoyment of young players, ensuring that they not only improve their skills but also have fun while doing so.
I believe in creating a positive and supportive environment where players feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks. Communication is key, and I prioritize building strong relationships with both players and parents. This helps create a cohesive team atmosphere and encourages everyone to be involved in the development process.
In my training sessions, I focus on making them fun and engaging while teaching the fundamentals of the game. I understand the importance of individual attention, especially for players who may be struggling with specific techniques. I break down complex skills into smaller, manageable steps, providing ample opportunities for practice and constructive feedback. I always encourage questions and use positive reinforcement to boost players' confidence, helping them to grow both as athletes and individuals.
Kaz - U14 Blue Manager, U14 Echo League Manager
Football has been a massive part of my life since a young age. It has always been an escape for me to express myself. I strongly believe the things you learn on the pitch prepare you for day to day situations, whether that be in education, work or your personal life. My belief system as a coach is to do the basics right - following the famous Johan Cruyff saying: “Playing football is simple, but playing simple football is the hardest thing there is”. My aim is to create a healthy competitive environment for players to learn, express themselves, have fun and create life-long memories with their team-mates.
Toby - U15 Manager
I’m a 25-year old UEFA-qualified coach with a first-class Bachelors degree in Sports Coaching and Performance and I am currently the U15s Coach at Los Campos. I have 9 years of coaching experience, and received my FA Level 1 coaching qualification at 16 years old, and I have experience within both the West Ham and Chelsea Foundation academies.
Within football, I believe in creating an environment that fosters technical excellence, tactical awareness and confidence - both on and off the ball. My approach emphasises individual and team growth through high-intensity sessions and adaptability in matches. With this, I am committed to nurturing players potential; within football and as an individual.
With a solid foundation of academic qualifications and years of hands-on experience.
Arthur - U10 Blue Manager
I am the coach of U10 Reds, I love attacking football and aspire to have my teams playing with fast and dynamic patterns of play. I believe all players should be hardworking and disciplined, attributes which are important in all aspects of life. I’m looking forward to continue working with my group of players and progressing as a team.
Lewis - U11 Manager
Football has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I represented my borough and county, had trials with academy teams, and played semi-professionally before moving into coaching to stay connected to the game.
I’m a UEFA C qualified coach with a Level 2 in Talent Identification, as I’m keen to explore academy scouting. I believe football is about hard work, discipline, communication, and building lifelong friendships. Since joining Los Campos, I’ve grown as a coach and am proud to help young players develop their skills and love for the game.
Tom - U12 Manager
I have been teaching children sports all my adult life, initially starting out with swimming then moving over to tennis and of course football. In my day job I work as a PE teacher in primary schools and I really love what I do. Despite my age I still love to play football regularly and currently captain a Sunday league team.
I’ve been coach for Los Campos for 5 years roughly working with the same group of boys from under 7s to under 12! I’m a coach that believes hard work will always overcome talent and try to instil this in my team.
Ethan - U13 BLUE Manager
As an ex-player of Los Campos, I have very much grown up surrounded by the club, and as a result I understand the impact a coach and football team can have on young players. As a manager, my main focus is to create a positive environment in which my players have the confidence and motivation to play at their highest level, and my training sessions revolve heavily around team-building exercises because of this.
Being able to share my love for football with younger players and being able to provide them with a stable and successful football team, as Los Campos did for me when I was a kid, is a great privilege and is the reason I enjoy coaching as much as I do.
Ash - U14 Red Manager, Los Campos Head Coach
As a coach , my primary role is to nurture young talent and foster a love for the game. I focus on creating a positive, inclusive environment where players of all skill levels feel welcomed and encouraged to improve.
My coaching sessions are designed to teach fundamental football skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. I tailor my training to meet the diverse needs of the players, ensuring that everyone gets the attention they deserve. I also engage with parents and the community to build a supportive network that enhances the club's spirit and participation.
Beyond just football skills, I emphasize personal development, helping players build resilience, discipline, and leadership qualities. My ultimate goal is to inspire the next generation of footballers and instill a lifelong passion for the sport in them.
