“This week, we would like to highlight those keyworkers collecting our bins and recycling. It is often overlooked, but we’d soon notice if this was to be left neglected. So to those who continue to keep our streets clean, we salute you!!”
A special thanks once again to the Amazing NHS
“This weeks challenge”
We thought we would mix things up a bit here - the challenge this week is to show off your football skills...without a football -
Use an orange like Messi, a chewing gum like Ozil, a rugby ball like Wilkinson (one for the parents), or whatever you choose...
A rugby ball, a tennis ball, or a paper ball
Kick-ups and/or skills...
As usual, the more creative, the better!!
Send us your training, fitness, and challenge videos and outtakes - selected videos will make our Los Campos Instagram Stories and/or permanent posts!!
Send in videos to your team's Whatsapp group by Sunday 6pm to be considered for our post on a WEDNESDAY.
Be sure to follow the Los Campos Instagram page, where selected videos will be posted.
Video Challenge Winner #LosCamposChallenge
This week's video challenge winner comes from Thomas Bradbury from the U14s squad!
Well done to Thomas, who has won a £10 voucher of his choice!
The first touch was great, but the linking of other skill moves on top is what really won it.
To win next week's prize, send in your videos - your attempt at a #LosCamposChallenge, or your own training routine/football freestyle.
Our favourite video will not only win the voucher of their choice, but also feature on our Instagram page

Jermaine Wright
This week saw the sad passing of Jermaine Wright.
An absolute gentleman, who always made time to help others, he was a true football man and a key figure in the Hackney Marsh and Leyton leagues.
He worked both on the refereeing side, training others while himself officiating games, and on the secretarial side, always looking for ways to simplify and improve the experience for all parties.
All of our coaches and many of the parents and kids of Los Campos will have been familiar with Jermaine Wright, but many of us did not know he worked full-time with the NHS for many years, alongside his many football commitments.
His reach and popularity in both fields was such that several tributes were made. Here are a select few:
