BIG NEWS!
The return of football may not be so far away……
This week, good news takes centre stage, as many of the big leagues have put provisional dates on a return to action. "Project Restart", the Premier League's committee leading their return to football, will meet on 7th May to review the situation in England, with a view to a possible return to games behind closed doors in June.
Arsenal are the first Premier League team to have allowed for their players to begin training in their facilities.
Although their players will still be training individually, it means we are a step closer to a relative normality.
AROUND EUROPE
Next month will hopefully see big steps towards a return to football around Europe:
Serie A in Italy have set provisional dates for their clubs to return to training, while the German Bundesliga has set a date for the league to resume in May.
The following link below gives you a breakdown of where the various leagues are in their plans to return to football.
Related to this, FIFA has proposed plans for 5 substitutes to be allowed during matches once football has returned.

But with plans for a massive take-over which promises to see a huge investment in the playing staff, it might only be a matter of time before we see the next generations of Los Campos players donning the famous magpies' jersey to our training sessions...
Although talks are still ongoing, there are already reports circulating about plans to bring in statement signings, including Mauricio Pochettino as manager, and players including Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly, a player long-touted to go to a top European club.
